The meals at our resort feature carefully selected, seasonal local ingredients prepared and presented in traditional Bhutanese style.
On any given day, breakfasts may include such Central Bhutanese favorites as hearty buckwheat pancakes with honey and farm fresh eggs, lunches may feature red rice and traditional buckwheat noodles while dinners may include hand-rolled local jambuleypasta and eggs in a spicy cilantro sauce.
Various cuts of meat, chicken and fish prepared in local and continental styles are also regular staples on the menu except during religious holidays when meat is banned.
With our Le Cordon Bleu graduate’s able stewardship of the kitchen and restaurant and our dear mother’s loving attention to all details of the food, menu and preparation, home-cooked meets delicious providing a wonderful window into what eating with a local family can be like in a resort ambience.
